The Scouting way at RCHK

School-based activities will go ahead unless black rain weather warning is in force.

Our Group currently has:
Grasshopper Section
school years 2-3
Cub Section
school years 4-6
Scout Section
school years 7-10
We have regular meeting every Saturday morning from 10:00 to 12:00 at RCHK. The Group has around 200 members including grasshopper scouts, cub scouts, scouts, scout leaders and instructors.

Our Vision

To be the best voluntary organisation for the development of young people in Hong Kong for the betterment of our society.

Our Mission

To operate an education movement for young people providing them with challenging and progressive training programmes for their physical, intellectual, social, spiritual and aesthetic development.
To achieve this mission, we will:
  • involve young people throughout their formative years in a non-formal educational process;
  • use the distinct Scout method that makes each individual the principal agent in his or her development as a self-reliant, supportive, responsible and committed person; and
  • assist young people to establish a value system based upon spiritual, social, ethical and personal principles as expressed in the Scout Promise and Law

1694th Silver Jubilee Group is administrated under Silver Jubilee District.

Apart from weekly meetings, the Group has a full schedule of camps, hikes, visits and community service by following the scout training program of each sections.

The Group is always keen to engage new Leaders in its various sections. Previous scouting experience is obviously an advantage but not essential.

The most important attributes required are enthusiasm and a desire to work with young people.

Scouting at RCHK is fun!
